Workshops:
These are amazing times for music in the community. Perhaps the abundance of several TV choir and singing shows has served to stimulate an interest, and to make singing more accessible to people who might have otherwise locked their voices away.
In these voice workshops we too understand that singing is a birthright for all and not reserved for the super-talented! I have to say though - when we give our voices free reign some surprisingly fabulous sounds are unearthed…
Crescendo is a monthly sound and song evening designed to provide a therapeutic mix of relaxation, confidence-building, health, healing, de-stressing, re-energising, wellbeing and fun. Participants enjoy singing, chanting and sounding in a particularly supportive and encouraging group setting.
WHO IS IT FOR?
You might feel you can’t sing but would like to. No previous experience is needed, so whether you are used to singing like a lark or feel you sing like a frog - or are just thinking about tentatively exploring your sound - car-crooooooners and bathtub-balladeers - you are all most warmly welcome. Maybe you have done lots of singing but are looking for a different approach. These evenings are designed for YOU, with the emphasis for you to ENJOY. If you lack confidence, all the more reason to come! All you need to bring is a willingness to explore in a safe and supportive environment.
